2012 PGA Championship, Leaderboard Update: Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods Chasing Joost Luiten

It's been an exciting first day at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island during the 2012 PGA Championship, but a relatively unknown Dutchman is taking the tournament by storm with a blistering opening round leaving the field in his dust.

Luiten is on-fire at the Ocean Course at the moment, sitting at 7-under through 15 holes on his round today. He's carded six birdies and an eagle so far, looking to hang on to the lead down the stretch.

A number of players are very close, including Swede Carl Petterson after his 6-under 66, while Rory McIlroy carded a bogey-free 67 to find himself 5-under for the tournament, tied with American Gary Woodland.

John Daly is off to a great start, firing a 4-under 68 on Thursday, while Tiger Woods finished at 3-under 69 for his first round. He carded three bogies and six birdies on the day, setting himself up nicely for the weekend.
