2012 London Olympics: Michael Phelps Finishes With Gold As Team USA Wins Men's 4x100m Medley Relay

It was another gold for Team USA on Saturday, as Michael Phelps and the rest of the men's 4x100m medley relay team picked up the victory over Japan and Australia. The Americans finished with a time of 3:29.35, almost two seconds better than Japan's 3:31.26. Australia took the bronze medal with a time of 3:31.58.

It was likely the last race of Michael Phelps' career, and it's only fitting that he end with a gold. It's his 18th gold medal, out of the 22 he has won. Matt Grevers, Brendan Hansen and Nathan Adrian were his teammates for the event. It was the third medal of the 2012 Games for Grevers and Adrian, and the second for Hansen. All four men are now done competing and can take in the rest of the Games as spectators.
