2012 Deutsche Bank Championship, Leaderboard Update: Tiger Woods Takes Lead With Opening Round 64

As the action in the first round of the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship continues this afternoon, it was the morning group that got off to an amazing start. That includes Tiger Woods, who finds himself tied for the lead after the first round at TPC Boston in Norton, MA.

Tiger was simply on fire on Thursday, shooting an opening round 64 to put him 7-under, currently tied with Jeff Overton. Woods carded eight birdies and one bogey on his round today, dropping five straight birdies on his first five holes of the day.

Austrailian John Senden and South African Louis Oosthuizen are currently tied for third place after opening rounds of 5-under par, while Dustin Johnson, Luke Donald, Ian Poulter and two others finished with 4-under 67's on Thursday.

PGA champion Rory McIlroy is part of the afternoon group, currently sitting at 1-over after three holes on the day.
