2012 U.S. Open Tennis: Match Schedule, TV Coverage, Streaming And More

The 2012 U.S. Open continues Wednesday with the third day of action from Flushing Meadows, NY. Second round matches begin on the women's side while first and second round matches are scheduled for the men's draw.

The start of the second round in the women's draw is headlined by No. 1 seed Victoria Azarenka and No. 3 seed Maria Sharapova. Both will return to the court after straight set victories in the first round. No. 5 seed Petra Kvitova, No. 7 seed Samantha Stosur and No. 9 seed Na Li will also be in action.

On the men's side, No. 3 seed Andy Murray and No. 4 seed David Ferrer will both be on the court Wednesday. Former USC tennis player Steve Johnson will also take to the court as he faces Rajeev Ram in the first round. Wednesday's match will be Johnson's first career appearance in a Grand Slam event.

Wednesday's action begins at 8 a.m. PT with television coverage beginning on the Tennis Channel. The Tennis Channel will have live match coverage from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PT with additional coverage available on ESPN2 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. PT. Matches can also be streamed live online at the U.S. Open official site.

8 a.m.: No. 5 Petra Kvitova vs. Alize Cornet

8 a.m.: No. 1 Victoria Azarenka vs. Kristen Flipkins

4 p.m.: No. 3 Maria Sharapova vs. Lourdes Dominguez

8 a.m.: No. 4 David Ferrer vs. Kevin Anderson

8 a.m.: Steve Johnson vs. Rajeev Ram

4 p.m.: No. 3 Andy Murray vs. Ivan Dodig
