The U.S. Open will feature Los Angeles's own Serena Williams in the late primetime matchup at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Serena takes on Coco Vandeweghe of the United States under the lights. You should be able to watch that match on ESPN2 as it happens (or online via Watch ESPN). Serena's sister Venus Williams will face Bethanie Mattek-Sands earlier in the day on Arthur Ashe.
In other tennis matchups, USC's Steve Johnson teams up with Jack Sock in men's doubles on Court 4 to face Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Daniel Nestor of Canada. In men's singles, UCLA's Dennis Novikov faces Jerzy Janowicz of Poland on Court 10.
