2012 U.S. Open Tennis: Match Schedule, TV Coverage, Streaming And More

The best the tennis world has to offer take the court in the U.S. Open beginning Monday morning at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

The fifth major of the year is expected to be wide open on the women's side, and Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray are the favorites on the men's side.

Some notable matches of the day include Murray's meeting with Russian Alex Bogomolov Jr. Murray could have his hands full early with Bogomolov, who made it as far as the third round in last year's open. Federer also drew an interesting first-round opponent in former top-ranked junior Donald Young.

On the woman's side, it seems Day 1 will go mostly with the chalk but Maria Sharapova will be in action as well as world No. 1 Victoria Azarenka of Belarus. A full schedule of all U.S. Open matches can be found on the tournament's website.
