The biggest news from Friday's practice didn't even happen on the practice field as USC announced that starting cornerback Isiah Wiley has been ruled academically ineligible by the NCAA.

To make the cornerback position even more thing, junior Nickell Robey sat out a few plays. He met with athletic trainers before returning to finish the practice.
Sophomore wide receiver George Farmer was back in action after sitting out Thursday's practice.
USC will conduct a mock game Saturday in full pads but without tackling.
