The Barclays 2012: Rickie Fowler Moves Up Leaderboard On Day 2

Rickie Fowler, a native of Murrieta, California, has found himself near the top of the leaderboard after his first two rounds at the 2012 Barclays in Farmingdale, New York on the famous Bethpage Black course. Fowler shot a 4-under 67 on Thursday and followed that up with a 1-under 70 today to leave him at 5-under for the tournament.

Fowler heads to the clubhouse in a tie for seventh place with three others, just two shots behind the leaders Padraig Harrington and Vijay Singh. Harrington is just beginning his second day while Singh is through 36 holes.

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy all tee off at 10:06 pm Pacific Time. Woods is in position, sitting at 3-under, four back of the leaders, and currently tied for 16th place. McIlroy sits at 2-under in a tie for 32nd.
