Coming off a 4-0 loss to the Galaxy at home last week, Chivas USA will travel to Colorado Saturday to face the Rapids.
With just 13 MLS regular season games to go and in a desperate need to make up points, Chivas will head to Colorado needing to come away with at least a point. Chivas will begin the game in eighth place in the Western Conference, 12 points back of the final playoff spot.
Colorado is just one point behind Chivas, making Saturday's game a vital one for both teams' playoff hopes. Getting a win on the road is always a challenge in the MLS, but if Chivas is going to make the playoffs they will have to get points on the road. Of their final 13 regular season MLS games, eight are on the road.
Chivas will have a familiar face available as Bobby Burling will be available Saturday after signing with the club on Friday. Burling made 23 appearances for Chivas from 2007-2009.
Saturday's game is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on KDOC TV in Los Angeles.
