For the 10th time in school history, a USC Trojan quarterback has made it on the cover of Sports Illustrated as Matt Barkley graces the magazine for the first time, signaling the return of the Trojan football program onto the national media stage.

With all eyes fixated on Barkley and USC in the Pac-12 this season, let's hope that they can live up to all the hype. They're high atop most folks lists on preseason top 25 polls and look like they have a great chance at making a big bowl game -- maybe even the national championship. We'll just have to wait and see.
