Pac-12 Football Picks: USC Predicted To Win More Than 10.5 Games

The USC Trojans are a safe bet to win football games this year. They are returning quarterback Matt Barkley and a lot of the offensive firepower from last season, and they will have lots of guys back on both sides of the football, including wide receivers Robert Woods and Marqise Lee and running back Curtis McNeal. Add in transfer Silas Redd from Penn State and a pretty talented defensive front and it's hard not to like USC's chances.

In fact, USC is expected to win a lot of football games this year. 10 to 11, to be precise, at least as far as Vegas is concerned. Bud Elliott of SB Nation explains why you should be comfortable betting on USC to win big this season; click here to read.

Although it's true that USC will generally be favored all season (and they could play as many as 14 games, meaning 11-3 could also make this scenario work), the Trojans don't have easy work ahead of them. The road trip to Utah figures to be daunting, and an early trip to Stanford won't be easy either. Playing in an NFL stadium against Washington could be difficult. And of course there could be as many as two matchups with Oregon.
