Watkins Glen played host to the Finger Lakes 355 on Sunday, the latest stop in the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series of races. The drivers had a devil of a time dealing with the track throughout the race. Afterward, all of the drivers were complaining of oil on the track, although NASCAR denied these claims.
In the end, Bakersfield native Kevin Harvick finished in 15th place, although many other top drivers also had disappointing finishes. Marcos Ambrose managed to outduel Bred Keselowski on the final lap after leader Kyle Busch spun out. The white flag lap was one of the most thrilling in recent memory, as Ambrose and Keselowski swapped places more than once during their dash around the serpentine track.
