Dwight Howard Traded To Lakers: Kobe Bryant Reacts

The U.S. Men's Olympic Basketball team took care of business today in London, beating Argentina 109-83, with Lakers star Kobe Bryant scoring 13 points in 19 minutes in the win while shooting 5-for-10 from the field, including 3-of-6 from three-point range. Bryant also had with four rebounds and two steals. After the game, he was asked about the news that the Los Angeles Lakers had acquired Dwight Howard in a four-team trade. Naturally, he seemed happy. As Eric Stephen pointed out earlier, the Lakers traded Andrew Bynum to Philadelphia, shipped Josh McRoberts and Christian Eyenga to Orlando, and sent a conditional 2017 first round pick and conditional 2015 second round pick to the Magic. The 76ers added Jason Richardson as well, while the Nuggets received Andre iguodala.

The Magic received Al Harrington, Eyenga, McRoberts, Moe Harkless, former UCLA Bruins guard Arron Afflalo, former USC Trojans center Nikola Vucevic, plus a 2013 first round pick and 2014 second round pick from Denver, from the Lakers, plus a conditional first round pick from Philadelphia.
