2012 PGA Championship, Leaderboard Update: Gary Woodland, Vijay Singh Making A Charge

With a number of top players still waiting to get their day started, a pair of former champions are making a charge at Kiawah Island on Friday, as well as some young guns on tour as well.

Two-time PGA champ Vijay Singh and 2005 champ Phil Mickelson are having nice rounds at the Ocean Course on Friday, with Vijay firing a 3-under 69 to move two back of the leader at 4-under for the week. Mickelson finished with an 1-under round of 71 to stay even par for the tournament.

Gary Woodland birdied the par-5 2nd to tie Carl Petterson for the lead, while Pat Perez is off to a nice start a well, currently 2-under for his first three holes to move to 5-under for the week.

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are both looking for another solid round, each just getting their day started. Conditions in the afternoon are expected to be tougher, so these guys might be positioned even better by day's end.
