Dodgers Vs. Marlins Game Preview: Hanley Ramirez Returns To Miami

The Los Angeles Dodgers look for their second straight win on Friday night as they open a weekend series in Miami against the Marlins. Friday marks the return to south Florida for Hanley Ramirez, who was acquired by the Dodgers on July 25.

Ramirez has hit just .226/.328/.358 so far for the Dodgers, but has has also driven in 12 runs in 14 games. Also, he hit a game-winning home run in San Francisco to beat the Giants in his third game as a Dodger so Ramirez has some goodwill in the bank. Ramirez has at least one hit and one run scored in all five road games as a Dodger, which is good since the club opens a 10-game road trip with this weekend series.

Clayton Kershaw starts the series opener for the Dodgers, looking for his third straight victory and 10th win of the year. Kershaw has allowed one run in 16 innings in his last two starts.

Mark Buehrle, who signed a four-year, $58 million deal as a free agent with Miami during the offseason, starts for the Marlins. Buehrle (9-10, 3.74) is also in search of his 10th win of the season, his first in the National League.

This is the fourth long road trip of the season for the Dodgers, who have gone 7-3, 1-8, then 7-3 in their road trips of at least nine games this year.
