On Saturday night in Daytona, the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup will take another run under the lights in the Coke Zero 400. The 160-lap race used to be called the Firecracker 400 and is the annual Fourth of July event. Matt Kenseth will enter the race as the overall points leader in the Sprint Cup standings and will hold pole position for the big race at Daytona.
Kevin Harvick holds the 11th slot in the race and the Bakersfield native hopes he will continue to hold strong in the top 10 of the standings. He will enter Saturday's race solidly in the sixth spot on the Sprint Cup leaderboard.
The green flag is scheduled to wave at 4:53 p.m. PT and will be the fifth of six races this year that will be broadcast on TNT. There IS live streaming of the race tonight, which can be found at NASCAR.com's "RaceBuddy" site. If you'll be away from your computer and TV, check the Motor Racing Network's web site for a list of affiliate radio stations in your area.
