Fresh off another grad slam victory at Wimbledon, Serena Williams returns to the All England Club in London to represent the United States in their quest for Olympic gold in tennis.
Even though she couldn't claim singles gold in Beijing back in 2008, her and her sister Venus took home the doubles gold, which could very well happen again 2012. But in terms of dominance on the court, there currently is no one better than Serena, even though she's ranked 4th in the wrold at the moment. But with her victory at the Bank of the West Classic up at Stanford a few weeks ago as well, not to mention completing at the location of her latest grand slam victory, it's easy to she why she is the favorite.
On the guys side of the draw players like Andy Roddick, Donald Young and 19-year old Ryan Harrison are going to have a tough time making their way to the podium. The international draw is frankly very stacked against them, though you never know when an American could play spoiler.
