The 2012 British Open saw its second round of action come and go on Friday, and there were plenty of big stories developing throughout. The current leader at -10 is American golfer Brandt Snedeker, who shot six-under-par on Friday.
Adam Scott is currently in second place at -9 through 36 holes. Tiger Woods is a couple of strokes behind him at -6 following another strong day of play. Woods shot three-under in the second round, just as he did in the first. Thorbjorn Olesen sits in fourth place at five-under.
Rory McIlroy did not play well after a strong first round, and he now sits at +2 overall for the tournament. Phil Mickelson struggled mightily yet again (+11 through 36 holes), and he missed the cut of +3 by a wide margin.
