2012 Tour de France, Stage 12: TV Coverage, Route And More

The Tour de France continues on Friday and after 11 stages, Great Britain's Bradley Wiggins is the leader. Riders are past the halfway mark and face the longest out of the all the stages in the race. Stage 12's 226km length, riders will have to power through this course. The course begins at Saint-Jean-de-Maurien and ends in Annonay Davezieux.

Stage 12's most unique characteristics are its two category 1 mountains near the beginning of the stage: Col du Grand Cucheron and Col du Granier. Once riders get past these two mountains, they'll be downhill for the rest of the majority of the stage.

You can start watching the 12th stage of the Tour at around 3:30 a.m. PT on the NBC Sports Network. Fans will also be able to watch the Tour online with a subscription to Tour de France Live.
