The Los Angeles Lakers released a statement on owner Jerry Buss being hospitalized for dehydration. TMZ reported earlier Tuesday. The team says the 78-year-old Buss is recovering and should be released from the hospital soon.

Buss has owned the Lakers since 1979, leading the organization to become one of the most successful and storied franchises in sports. The Lakers have won 10 NBA titles with Buss as the owner.
He was hospitalized last December when dealing with blood clots.
