Belmont Stakes 2012 Odds: With I'll Have Another Out, Dullahan Becomes The New Favorite

On Friday, I'll Have Another pulled out of the 2012 Belmont Stakes. While the news was a shock to many, it ensured that there will be no Triple Crown winner in 2012. It also means that the field for the Belmont Stakes is wide open. The updated betting odds bear that out.

I'll Have Another was the odds-on favorite to take the third leg of the Triple Crown, but now that he is scratched, all the other horses have had their odds adjusted. Making things even more interesting is that, due to the late nature of the scratch, there will be no alternate or replacement horse running in I'll Have Another's slot.

The new favorite in the race is Dullahan, who showed at the Kentucky Derby. Union Rags is next in line according to the odds, followed by Paynter.

Complete odds for the 2012 Belmont Stakes can be found below.
