The 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series came to Dover International Speedway on Sunday for the running of the FedEx 400.
Kevin Harvick had a huge week, something he's been looking for for several weeks now. Although the checkered flag went to Jimmie Johnson, Harvick was able to grab second place and will pick up some all-important points in the Sprint Cup standings as a result. He, Johnson and third-place driver Matt Kenseth should all gains some significant ground in the standings and climb this week as a result of the FedEx 400.
The trickiest course in the Sprint Cup Series lived up to its billing, as the race featured an early 12-car wreck and a late caution saw first-place driver Jeff Gordon -- who had led for 60 laps at that point -- plummet all the way to 13th place at the finish.
