The Arizona Wildcats continued to look dominant on Sunday night as they defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks by a final score of 5-1 in the first game of the 2012 College World Series Championship Finals. If the Wildcats can pick up one more win, they will walk away from Omaha as the national champions.
The UCLA Bruins may have missed out on their chance to be champions, but Arizona has a fantastic shot at bringing the title back to the Pac-12.
The second game of the Championship Finals will take place on Monday in Omaha at TD Ameritrade Park. First pitch will be at 5:00 p.m. PT and will be televised on ESPN.
A complete tournament bracket is available at the NCAA website.
