The seeding for the 2012 Wimbledon Championship tournament have been released, and Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova have the no. 1 seeds for the Gentlemen's and Ladies' Singles, respectively. The United States of America is represented in both the Gentlemen's and Ladies singles. On the Gentleman's side, Mardy Fish, John Isner and Andy Roddick are the ranked Americans. For the Ladies, Serena Williams and Christina McHale are the only Americans seeded. Serena's sister Venus Williams is unseeded for the first time in more than ten years.
