French Open Results 2012: All Area Players Eliminated By Round 2

The 2012 French Open has not been kind to the three Southern California players who were participating in the Grand Slam tournament on the clay. Serena Williams was famously upset and eliminated in the first round of this year's Roland Garros, the first time she had ever been knocked out of a Grand Slam event in the opening round.

Her sister Venus Williams fared only one match better. After nearly being upset in her opening-round match, Venus lost in straight sets in the second round to No. 3 ranked Agnieszka Radwanska, 6-2, 6-3.

The third women's player from the area, Vania King, also managed to make it to the second round, but was also knocked off in straight sets by No. 15 Dominika Cibulkovain even more decisive fashion, 6-0, 6-2.
