2012 College World Series: UCLA Will Face Arizona On Sunday

The UCLA Bruins started their Omaha journey on the right foot, picking up a decisive 9-1 win over Stony Brook in their 2012 College World Series opener on Friday. On Sunday, they will hope to keep their winning ways rolling right along as they face off against the Arizona Wildcats.

Arizona had picked up a win of their own in Friday's nightcap, although they certainly had a more difficult time in doing so. The Wildcats needed 12 innings to get the 4-3 win over the Florida St. Seminoles. Arizona won't be pushovers, but the Bruins may have momentum on their side.

The two teams will pay at 6:00 p.m. PT and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN 2.

The College World Series is a double-elimination format until getting down to the final two teams, at which point those finalists will play in a best-of-three series. You can find a full, interactive bracket at the official NCAA website.
