Tiger Woods kept a respectable distance from the leaders for most of the day on Saturday, but a pair of bogeys late in the back nine saw him fall to 5-over in his third round. Woods now sits in a tie for 14th place at 4-over in the 2012 U.S. Open at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.
Woods entered the day in a three-way tie for first place. One of his companions at the top of the leadrboard was Jim Furyk, who still owns a share of the lead heading into Sunday's final round. Furyk was even for the day to remain at 1-under on the tough course, while Graeme McDowell shot a 2-under for the day to join him.
