U.S. Open Leaderboard: Tiger Woods Tied For Lead Following Second Round

Tiger Woods is currently tied for the lead at the 2012 U.S. Open at one-under par. Woods shot an even par-70 in the second round after shooting -1 on Thursday, tying him with David Toms and Jim Furyk at the top of the leaderboard. Four players are tied for second place at +1, including Michael Thompson, who had a miserable day while shooting five-over par after starting the day -4.

The story of the second round was Beau Hossler. Just 17 years old and a soon-to-be senior in high school, Hossler led the field for a few holes on the back-nine. It appears the nerves caught up to him a bit, though, as he ended the day at +3.

Phil Mickelson is at +7 for the tournament through two rounds. Masters winner Bubba Watson is nine-over and appears to be out of the running to make the projected cut of +8.
