2012 College World Series Bracket: UCLA Bruins One Of Eight Teams In Omaha

The 2012 College World Series will begin in Omaha on Saturday. The UCLA Bruins are one of five teams that have already punched their ticket for the top tournament in the country. UCLA hosted a Super Regional qualifier over the weekend and bested the TCU Horned Frogs by taking the first two games in a best-of-three series to secure their spot in the race for the national title.

UCLA will join the Arizona Wildcats, Florida Gators, Florida St. Seminoles and Stony Brook in Omaha. The remaining three Super Regional qualifiers are underway and the final three teams will be determined over the course of the week. The winners of Oregon vs. Kent State, South Carolina vs. Oklahoma and Baylor vs. Arkansas will advance.

The College World Series is a double-elimination format until getting down to the final two teams, at which point those finalists will play in a best-of-three series. You can find an interactive bracket at the official NCAA website.
