Johnny Stanton, Santa Margarita QB Offered By Utah State

According to a tweet by SB Nation Seattle's Scott Enyeart, Utah State has offered Santa Margarita quarterback prospect Johnny Stanton. The dual-threat quarterback currently holds offers from Washington, California, San Diego State, Navy and Air Force.

Stanton is a class of 2013 prospect and is the No. 14 ranked quarterback in his class according to ESPN's recruiting database. Per Scout.com, local schools UCLA and USC have both shown interest, but neither has offered Stanton a scholarship yet.

Not only did Stanton pass for 2,439 yards and score 13 touchdowns, but he also rushed for 1520 yards and 25 touchdowns in his junior year. The Los Angeles Times named him to their All-Area First Team.
