On Sunday, Kasey Kahne won his first race of the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The win was a huge won for Kahne, as it came in his 300th career start and vaults him up to 15th place in the Sprint Cup standings. It's also Kahne's first win since becoming a part of Hendrick Motorsports.
The race was also a big one for Bakersfield native Kevin Harvick, who finished in eighth place and grabs 30 points. With the win, Harvick moves back into the No. 7 spot on the leaderboard, just behind Martin Truex, Jr.
Greg Biffle finished in fourth place and remains the overall Sprint Cup points leader, picking up 10 points over the second-place Matt Kenseth. Denny Hamlin moved ahead of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and into third place and Jimmie Johnson rounds out the top five.
