Lakers Vs. Thunder: Metta World Peace Called For Flagrant Foul (Video)

Game five between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder is developing into the kind of game befitting an elimination game - in other words, one where the Lakers are desperate and playing hard to survive. Kobe Bryant picked up two fouls in the first quarter, but has been able to avoid adding any since. Andrew Bynum has three so far, and late in the second quarter Metta World Peace was called for a flagrant foul in a collision with Thabo Sefolosha under the ring. Video and more after the jump:

World Peace was, naturally, displeased with the call:

He wasn't the only one. Kobe Bryant picked up his first technical of the game talking to the referee while Sefolosha was taking his free throws. The Lakers are playing hard and doing whatever it takes to avoid elimination, if they aren't smart about it that extra effort may cost them. The Lakers trail 54-51 at halftime.
