Rickie Fowler sat five strokes back of the leaders of the 2012 Players Championship entering Saturday morning, but the young phenom has had a huge third round to move to the top of the leaderboard. Through 11 holes, Fowler is sitting at -6 for the day. He has birdied six times already and still has a manageable few holes left before heading to the clubhouse for the day.
Phil Mickelson has played well today and is two-under par to move to -4 for the tournament. Tiger Woods started the third round at -2, and after two early bogies he has rallied for two birdies to move to even through 14 holes.
The leaders entering Saturday -- Matt Kuchar, Kevin Na and Zach Johnson -- have all begun their days and are looking to build on two very strong days. All three began the third round at -8 for the tournament.
