Saturday's third round of the 2012 Masters in Augusta will open with Fred Couples and Jason Dufner tied atop the leaderboard at 5-under. Couples is stunning the world by moving into a tie for first place after the second round in what is his 28th Masters appearance. Favorite Rory McIlroy is just a stroke off the pace, while Phil Mickelson is 2-under. Early favorite Tiger Woods has struggled quite a bit and his five bogeys on Friday have him headed to the third round with a cumulative 3-over par.
Hunter Mahan has also survived the cut for round three and the competition will continue on at breakneck pace as the world's best golfers compete for the green jacket.
