On Saturday, the Capital City 400 took place at Richmond International Raceway. Kyle Busch took home the checkered flag by edging out Dale Earnhardt, Jr., but was still unable to crack the Top 10 in the 2012 Sprint Cup Series standings.
Bakersfield native Kevin Harvick finished in 19th place, his worst finish of the season. He drops one spot in the overall Sprint Cup points standings and is now No. 7 overall, but just one point behind Jimmie Johnson at No. 6.
There was a bit of controversy on one of the restarts, with 83 laps remaining. Jeff Gluck at SB Nation explains the situation far better than I could, so click through to read about that.
