UCLA great and former Los Angeles Lakers star Jamaal Wilkes will be inducted to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as announced on Tuesday.

Wilkes played his entire high school, college and professional basketball careers in California. At UCLA, Wilkes was a two-time All-American and won two NCAA championships in 1972-1973 with Bill Walton under the coaching of legend John Wooden.

After his time at UCLA, the Berkeley-native continued his career and played 12 professional seasons with the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers. Wilkes was part of four NBA championship teams during his career.
