The 2012 Big West Tournament begins on Thursday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, and the Long Beach State 49ers are the top seed in the tournament for the second straight season. The 49ers open their tournament slate on Thursday evening with a battle against the UC Davis Aggies. Here are the relevant details of tonight's college basketball tilt:

Series History: Long Beach State leads the all-time series with UC Davis 13-2, and have won their last six meetings. This season, the 49ers beat Davis 86-58 in Long Beach on January 12. On February 11, the 49ers won in Davis 89-69.
Injuries: Big West Defensive Player of the Year Larry Anderson, one of four seniors on Long Beach State, is doubtful for the Big West Tournament after spraining right knee last Saturday.
