Bracketology 2012: Long Beach St. Is No. 11 Seed In Eastern Region, Pac-12 With Only Two Bids

The Long Beach St. 49ers are the no. 11 seed in the Eastern Region in SB Nation's Chris Dobbertean's latest Bracketology. Dobbertean has the 49ers facing Notre Dame in the first round with Michigan possibly awaiting them as the no. 3 seed in the second round.

Dobbertean also had this to say about the current state of the Pac-12 heading into tournament selection.

"The Pac-12 is rapidly moving toward one or two-bid status, thanks to losses by Arizona, California and Washington over the weekend. The Huskies are in this projection since they're the top seed at this week's conference tournament in Los Angeles. So is California, as they have the best at-large profile of the conference's four marginal contenders. Since I don't see the Pac-12 getting three bids, I dropped Oregon out for the moment, even though the Ducks won twice this week."

Dobbertean has Cal as the no. 10 seed, also in the Eastern Region with Creighton as its first round matchup and no.2 seed Duke possibly as a second round matchup.

The Oregon Ducks are one of the last four teams out while the Arizona Wildcats are in the next four out.
