NCAA Baseball Rankings: UCLA Bruins Move Up To No. 6 In Baseball America Poll

The red-hot UCLA Bruins continued their stellar play over the weekend with a pair of big wins over the Washington State Cougars in Pac-12 Conference play at Jackie Robinson Stadium in Los Angeles. As a result, UCLA has reached their highest spot of the season in the college baseball rankings, moving up to No. 6 in the latest top 25 poll by Baseball America.

UCLA (17-4, 4-1 in Pac-12 play) beat Washington State 12-3 on both Friday and Saturday, and have won three straight games and 15 of their last 16 contests. The Bruins' series finale with the Cougars on Sunday was rained out, and the two schools will finish their series on Monday at 1 p.m. PST.

The Bruins are one of six Pac-12 teams in the top 25, joining No. 2 Stanford, No. 8 Arizona, No. 14 Arizona State, No. 22 Oregon State, and No. 23 Oregon. The Cal State Fullerton Titans (14-8) remained at No. 13 in the latest poll. Here is the Baseball America top 10:

The Bruins head to Salt Lake City next weekend to battle the Utah Utes in a three-game series.
