The Loyola Marymount Lions went to the 2012 WCC Tournament in Las Vegas as the No. 4 seed, but following their game against the San Francisco Dons on Friday night, they will be packing their bags and heading home early. The Lions took the lead early but were unable to hold on as they ultimately lost by a final score of 67-60.

But the Dons roared back to life in the first half and closed in on the Lions' lead. Entering halftime, Loyola Marymount led by the slimmest of margins. They entered halftime up by a score of 35-34 and grabbed a five-point lead in the opening minutes. The Dons would not quit, finally taking the lead with 11:30 left in the game. It was a lead that they would not surrender.
The Dons will next face the No. 1 seeded St. Mary's Gaels in the semifinals on Saturday.
