What we know so far is that the Long Beach St. 49ers will be the top seed, the UC Davis Aggies will be the No. 8 seed, and that Cal State Northridge is ineligible for the postseason. The remaining six teams of this eight-team tournament all have one game remaining to determine their fate.

UCSB beat Pacific Thursday night 76-61 to improve to 11-4 in conference, tied with Cal State Fullerton for second place in the conference. Meanwhile, Cal Poly at 7-8 has the inside track at the No. 4 seed, while UC Riverside, Pacific, and UC Irvine are all tied at 6-9 with one game remaining.

The quarterfinal game times have been announced, and will be televised by Big West TV on Thursday, March 8:

  • 12 p.m. - No. 3 vs. No. 6

  • 6 p.m. - No. 1 Long Beach State vs. No. 8 UC Davis
