Selection Sunday 2012: Time, TV Schedule And More

The Long Beach St. 49ers on Saturday night won the Big West Tournament to clinch their first NCAA Tournament berth in five years. Now the only questions are, who and where will Long Beach State play in March Madness, and what seed will the Big West champs receive? We find out today, with the NCAA Selection Show on CBS. Here is the schedule of today's events.

Time: 3 p.m. PST

TV: CBS, with Greg Gumbel, Seth Davis, and Greg Anthony in studio. Jim Nantz, Clark Kellogg, Steve Kerr, and Jeff Hathaway will be on the telecast from the Big Ten Tournament

For Long Beach State, they have been projected anywhere from a 10 to a 12 seed, and Chris Dobbertean's latest projection at SB Nation has the 49ers as the No. 12 seed in the West, playing the No. 5 seed New Mexico in Nashville. The big question, however, for Long Beach State is the health of guard Larry Anderson, who missed the Big West Tournament with a sprained right ankle. Anderson will be needed if the 49ers are to make any kind of noise in the NCAA Tournament.
