Long Beach State Vs. Pacific Final Score: Casper Ware Scores 38 In 74-66 49ers Win

The Long Beach State 49ers extended their regular season Big West Conference winning streak to 19 games on Thursday night with a 74-66 road win in Stockton over the Pacific Tigers. Casper Ware scored 27 of his career-high 38 points in the second half to lead the 49ers to the win.

Pacific led 34-32 at halftime.

Ware made 12 of his 23 field goals, including eight of 15 from three-point range, and grabbed five rebounds. Ware hit seven threes in the second half, including 17 points in the final seven and a half minutes of the game. Ware had no assists on the night, and remains tied with Billy Walker for most assists (507) in Long Beach State history.

T.J. Robinson scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Eugene Phelps added 11 points on 5-of-5 shooting and eight rebounds in the win for the 49ers.

Lorenzo McCloud scored 16 points to lead Pacific (9-14, 5-6).

Long Beach State continues their road trip, facing UC Davis on Saturday afternoon.
