Daytona 500 Winner: Matt Kenseth, With Kevin Harvick At Seventh

Over a day and a half after the event was supposed to finish, after a series of rain delays, crashes, and various other issues, Matt Kenseth finally won the Daytona 500. And this was after his car had to relieve itself! Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished second, Greg Biffle third overall.

Kevin Harvick (originally from Bakersfield) couldn't make a leap anywhere during the last few delays, finishing in seventh place overall. Harvick's car is the Budweiser car, and he seemed lock into a top ten finish for most of the contest regardless of all the mishaps. Harvick's biggest asset during this event was staying out of trouble, as his car avoided damage while it ended up taking out plenty of other cars, particularly during the home stretch of the contest. It was a fairly strong finish for adverse conditions for Harvick.
