Bakersfield native Kevin Harvick participated in the 2012 Budweiser Shootout on Saturday. The exhibition race did not quite go Harvick's way, as he had his car destroyed in a crash with just 20 laps remaining in the exhibition race. On Sunday, Harvick will be back in action as he participates in the Qualifying for next week's Daytona 500, which kicks off the 2012 Sprint Cup season.
The Qualifying begins on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. PT and will be televised nationally on FOX. Harvick will have the 19th slot in the qualifiers.
