The Long Beach St. 49ers are still trying to find their way into the top 25 teams in the country but is still on the outside looking in as both the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll and the Associated Press Poll both kept the 49ers out of the rankings.
But the 49ers are still getting votes as they earned 17 votes in the Coaches poll, placing them as the imaginary 31st ranked team in the country. They earned 12 votes in the AP poll, tying them with New Mexico and BYU for the 29th spot in the country.
Loyola Marymount continues to play nationally-ranked teams as it just lost to Gonzaga on Saturday whom is now ranked in both polls and they travel to play St. Mary's on Wednesday which has been ranked for much of the season.
As for the Pac-12, none of its teams were ranked in the top 25 for the 11th straight week. Cal was the closest at no. 36 in the AP and no. 33 in the coaches.
