Breeders' Cup 2012: Race schedule, odds, post time and more for Saturday

Saturday will be a busy day at the 2012 Breeders' Cup, beginning with the Juvenile Turf race and finishing with the Breeders' Cup Classic.

The 2012 Breeders' Cup continues on Saturday with nine more races from Santa Anita Park. The day's schedule concludes with the 2012 Breeders' Cup Classic.

Saturday begins with the Juvenile Turf race, which has a post time of 11:50 a.m. PT. Dundonnell, ridden by jockey James Doyle, is the favorite at 4-1 odds. Joha and Noble Tune are behind Dundonnell, at 6-1 odds. The second race of the day will be the Filly & Mare Sprint with heavy favorite Groupie Doll a 1-1 favorite. The race is schedule to post at 12:35 p.m. PT. Shackleford is a narrow favorite in the Dirt Mile, going off at 2-1 odds, just ahead of Emcee at 5-2. The Dirt Mile will post at 1:14 p.m. PT.

The Turf Sprint will be the fourth race of the day, with a scheduled post time of 1:57 p.m. Bridgetown, at 9-2, is the favorite, with Unbridled's Note a close second at 5-1. The second half of the day will begin with the Grey Goose Juvenile at 2:36 p.m. PT. Shanghai Bobby and Power Broker are the two favorites in that race, with Shanghai Bobby at 2-1 and Power Broker at 5-2. The Turf race is up next at 3:18 p.m. PT. Point of Entry is the favorite at 3-1, while St Nicholas Abbey and Shareta are tied for second at 7-2.

The last three races of the day begin with the Xpressbet Sprint, which is scheduled to post at 3:58 p.m. PT. Amazombie, which will be ridden by Mike Smith, is the early favorite at 4-1. The Breeders' Cup Mile race will follow at 4:40 p.m. PT. Wise Dan at 9-5 is the favorite in the Mile, with Excelebration just behind at 2-1.

Finally, the day will close out with the 2012 Breeders' Cup Classic. The race, which has a purse of $5 million, is scheduled to post at 5:30 p.m. PT. Game On Dude, which is trained by Bob Baffert and will be ridden by Rafael Bejarano, is the favorite at 9-5. Fort Larned and Flat Out are tied for the second-best odds at 5-1, while Ron the Greek is 6-1.
