The final stage of the PGA Tours qualifying school begins Wednesday at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif. There will be 172 players competing for 25 PGA Tour cards over the six days.

The PGA Tour qualifying tournament is a way for players to gain exempt status on the PGA Tour for the 2013 season. The field includes players who've struggled to make the Tour for years, veterans with PGA Tour wins under their belts and up-and-coming players looking to break through.

The players will play 108 holes over the six days, beginning with 18 holes on Wednesday. The competition will be held at PGA West with players competing on the Nicklaus Private Course and TPC Stadium Course. There are plenty of notable names in the field, including Nick O'Hern, Steve Flesch and Camilo Villegas.

Television coverage of Q school will be shown on the Golf Channel with highlights of each round airing from 8 to 10 p.m. ET. Wednesday's tee times on the TPC Stadium Course can be found here with the Nicklaus Tournament Course tee times here.
