The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Nebraska Cornhuskers are projected to meet in the Rose Bowl, according to CBS Sports. The Irish are expected to finish behind Oregon and Kansas State should they remain undefeated, and the Rose Bowl would have an opportunity to snag one of college football's most famous programa. The Cornhuskers are helped by an ineligible Ohio State team, are are predicted to beat Wisconsin in the Big Ten title game,
Notre Dame is currently 10-0 after taking down Boston College on Saturday. The Irish have two games remaining, at home against Wake Forest and on the road against USC. Even if the Irish were to lose one of those contests, it is still highly likely that they would be selected for a BCS bowl.
The Cornhuskers still need to win out to guarantee a spot in their conference championship. Nebraska is tied with Michigan at the top of their division, but holds the head-to-head tiebreaker.
