The annual Breeders' Cup will commence at Santa Ana Park this weekend, and a very talented field is set to take the track. The Breeders' Cup features 14 races that are comprised of the world's fastest horses, and there will be upwards of $25 million up for grabs for those who place.
The first post time on Friday is set for 11:15 a.m. PT. The first Breeders' Cup post is set for the same day at 1:05 p.m. The first post on Championship Saturday is 10:05 a.m. with the first Breeders' Cup post at 11:50 a.m.
For those who plan on attending the races this weekend, the track is located in Arcadia, Calif., 14 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles. It is surrounded by Baldwin Avenue and Huntington Drive and is located across from Westfield Santa Anita Shopping Center.
